I say it all the time, but this video is the proof!
A horse with a great mind is worth its weight in gold. This is Amy's Lil Vandea, the 2020 filly we kept this year, being led by our niece Mykayla.
Mykayla, who is always willing to help with the chores, took the initiative to put a halter on Dea but the halter was way too big. Mykayla then led her into the wash rack with the nose piece hanging off her nose. With a different horse this could have been a dangerous situation, but Dea just went with the flow and didn't think a thing about it. In fact, at one point in the video she has this slightly confused look like "I don't think this is right, but ok?". I am so thankful every day we have horses with great minds like this.
